Ironically I found a little snipet that some members of K.L.A.W. 4th Fleet did a while back... As embarassing as it ultimately is, it good to see fan made stuff out there in circulation...

Hrmmff... Well if you go HERE you will find a sketch of an IKN broadcast including a bit on a "Klingon Food Critic"... The Critic is one of my H'Nter line brothers, (Lt. Cmdr. Koloth SutaI-H'Nter), and the whole "Show" was a Joint effort between two of our Chapters, the IKV Fek'lhr's Hoof, and the IKV Widow Maker... I am not sure when it was filmed exactly, but I think that it is several years old...

WARNING! This broadcast is SILLY, and pushes the limits of "Good Taste"...<Chuckle>... So anyone hoping to find Klingon Kulture in this thing will likely be distracted by Fan made goofyness...

I actually saw that one and liked it. I didn't think there was too much bad taste involved. It was clearly a comedy piece from the beginning, so I was prepared for the jokes. Probably not something I would have produced, but I can enjoy forays into the lighter side of Kiln every now and then.

I liked that one, too. Two moments particularly stand out: when the otherwise immaculately dressed anchor walks off the set, she is wearing nothing but what appear to be heart-patterned underwear (hard to tell the pattern at such low resolution) and fuzzy slippers.

And as for not feeding fried chicken to one's targh, does anyone remember when McDonald's Chicken McNuggets came out in 1980-something? When not even my most omnivorous Human associates could get them down, they offered them to their dogs. Out of a 12-dog kennel there were no takers.

It is good that the piece was well received. I am also quite certain that those who participated would also be glad to hear it. I figured that I would include the "Disclaimer" because it is comedic in nature rather than an attempt at serious Klingon Kultural commentary...

Personally, (As a fan), I find it worthy for the creative effort put forth, and for the work that went into the project... As a Klingon I find it embarrassing, if that makes any sense...<Chuckle>...

Trivia-

The female anchor is Captain Khe'Tara SutaI-Lorenssith, Commander of the IKV Fek'lhr's Hoof... Not sure what the pattern is on her boxers, but she is also wearing "Fuzzy-slippers"... Possibly targh?...<Grin>... The male anchor is Lt. Cmdr. Korv veStaI-Solazarn, and is the Hoof's Chief Engineer... The Klingon male (Disguised as a Human in the opening portion of the Food Critic), is Captain K'rum SutaI-Urussig, CO of the IKV Widow Maker... I am not sure who the female dancer is, as I was not there at the time...
