I sent off a about two months ago my application for membership to Canada with a $10 money order. I haven't heard anything yet.  I understand  from the website that they are bogged with lots of emails and few admin helpers but I am getting a bit concern.  Has anyone else had this problem or does it take longer than the 8 weeks to hear back from them and get your membership kit?

I don't know the current status of the KIDC club itself; I am posted a continent away from the Embassy, and my responsibilities revolve around the Forums. I have forwarded your problem to Lady K'Zin and will post any replies I get.

Unfortunately not. I will try again... In the meantime, I recommend that you, too, contact the Embassy and ask as to the status of your application. Strength in numbers, and all that. }}: \  The Embassy’s inbox is : klingon at klingon dot org .

Askade,

I got a reply and have forwarded it to you via email. There was some confusion over email addresses, so let me know if you do not receive it.

This Just In from the KIDC Membership Information page:

“We are currently re-structuring our membership system and regretfully are not accepting new memberships at this time. We hope to remedy this situation in the near future, so please stay tuned for more news...”

I will post an update as soon as I have one.
