For those interested, in
the candidate’s home page/blog (complete with {thlingan Hol} lead-in) he shares the credit of his success with the Klingon content:
Election results
Even if I originally did not intend this page to be an integral part of my re-election campaign, it became one. In spite of international attention, most of the traffic generated by the publicity was from Finland.
Having thousands of voters from my constituency visiting my web page just a week before election day must have had an impact. At least I did get almost twice as many votes as four years ago. And yes, I got re-elected. Thank you!
If one keeps reading, one will find scattered commentary in {thlingan Hol} amongst the Finnish.
Perhaps Klingons and Greens aren’t as incompatable as I had originally thought...

Update: There’s an
English version page with some comments on the page/campaign’s Klingonness and Trekkiness. Conservatives may want to skip this part -- it is largely Greenies agreeing with each other.
